Cancellation & refund policy
Any additions and/or changes taken at the competition that are not the fault of the organizer will be subject to a $10 surcharge and must be paid before the session in which the entry is to be danced.
Full Refunds will be given if notified by June 15, 2007. There will be a Service Charge for cancellations after June 15, 2007 of $50 per participant. Canceled packages after July 1, 2006 will not be refunded
Canceled entries taken at the event will not be refunded. Admission tickets are non-refundable.
Dancing consecutive levels & age divisions
All competitors may dance two FULL levels of freestyles (ei. All of Bronze & Silver divisions) The only exception is when a student is entered in “Newcomer Bronze” – they may not enter any Silver divisions. All levels must remain consecutive. A student may also dance in 2 different age divisions, as long as they enter one BELOW their actual age (with the exceptions of Jr & Pre-teens)
Hotel accommodations
Hotel reservations made through the Organizer will be confirmed at the Minneapolis South Sheraton in Bloomington on a first-come, first-serve, paid-in-full basis.
Ndca registration
All Pro/Am teachers, professionals, & amateur couples are required to have a 2007 Registration Number with the National Dance Council of America. For further information: Lee Wakefield; PO Box 22018; Provo, UT 84602-20186.
Payment policy
Any balances due must be paid in advance of the competition. Balances paid after the deadline must be paid with cash or cashiers check. Any prize money (scholarships, Top Teacher, Professional) cannot be used to deduct any balances due. Any hotel reservation requested will not be confirmed unless payment in full is made to Megamarc, Inc. by the deadline.
Solo exhibitions
No solo Exhibition is to exceed three (3) minutes. Music must be on individually labeled tapes or CD”s (no “mini CD’s or cassettes will be accepted)
Solo Exhibition Audio Critique tapes and scores will be available to Studio Personnel on Saturday Afternoon
Syllabus restrictions
Material used should be based on the NDCA or DVIDA syllabus, the Fred Astaire or the Arthur Murray step list.
International material should be restricted to the ISTD Syllabus
No “continuity style” is allowed in any Bronze division
Lifts are allowed only in a Theatre Arts category or Solo Exhibition
